If you follow our Facebook page, then you saw the great news yesterday that the Hatfield-McCoy Trails received federal funding that will help it add 185 miles of new trails in Lincoln, McDowell and Wyoming counties!
We’re excited about this news, because that means more trails in McDowell and Wyoming counties that our guests at Four Wheeler Heaven will have direct access to!
More than $678,000 in federal funding will be granted to the Hatfield-McCoy Regional Recreation Authority, which operates and maintains the trails. We don’t know any more details about exactly when and where the trails will be built, but we will be following the news closely and hope to update you soon on when you can expect to ride on these new trails!
In the meantime, we already have over 200 miles of trails in two states directly accessible from Four Wheeler Heaven, and we still have plenty of springtime availability in our Coaldale Condo unit.
