Pocahontas trail, connector to remain open!

There will be NO closure of the Hatfield-McCoy Trails’ Pocahontas trail or its connector to Indian Ridge!

The good news came out in the Bluefield Daily Telegraph. The article states that “The closure date (Feb. 1) has been lifted. There is no closure. Pinnacle Creek, Indian Ridge and the Pocahontas Trail, all three systems will continue to be connected.”

While the article states that a few trails will be closed and/or moved around, the Pocahontas trail system itself, as well as the connection to Indian Ridge and Pinnacle Creek, will remain open and available for riders. That means guests at Four Wheeler Heaven will continue to be able to ride over to Bramwell, Welch, Pineville and the hundreds of miles of trails in-between that make up the Pocahontas, Indian Ridge and Pinnacle Creek trail systems! If that’s not enough trails for you, the Spearhead Trails’ Original Pocahontas trails are just 3 miles over the mountain from us and are a popular choice for riders with kids and those who want to try something new!

Call Four Wheeler Heaven at 855-5-TRAILS or visit fourwheelerheaven.com to learn more about our accommodations, availability or to book your 2019 trip now.
